VIRTUAL HOUSE CALLS
With our Remote Monitoring app, Invisalign® patients can scan their smile for weekly feedback from our doctors to ensure their new smile is on track. These quick virtual house calls can result in fewer office visits, faster treatment and higher quality results.

Remote Monitoring provides a seamless, virtual experience that allows our orthodontists the ability to maintain consistent contact between treatment appointments. By receiving same-day feedback about your weekly progress, it takes the guessing out of when to move to the next aligner. We’ll be with you every step of the way on your journey to your new smile!
Using the app for either iOS or Android, you can capture your treatment progress, communicate with our orthodontists, and receive your treatment updates and instructions.
Orthodontic Associates is the leading practice across 8 states with the most patients choosing to fast-track their smiles with Remote Monitoring.
When using the Remote Monitoring App and while prepping for your scans, it is important to make sure the volume is turned up so you can hear the assistant tell you what steps you need to take during the scanning process.
The process time to get an answer is 12 hours for a GO or NOGO result. A GO result means you may change to your next set of aligners while a NOGO result indicates that you need to stay in your current aligners and scan again in 3 days.
Questions? Just ask. There is always someone to address any questions or concerns within the Remote Monitoring App.
REMOTE MONITORING
Through Remote Monitoring, you will have quick, weekly, virtual house calls to show us your aligner fit, and then we will message you to either move on to your next aligner or stay in your current aligner depending on the doctor’s assessment of your aligner’s fit. Your smile progress is stored along with all treatment messages so you can track your results and review feedback at any time.
DOCTOR FEEDBACK
Remote Monitoring is offered to all youth and adult Invisalign patients at the start of treatment. We will help you set up the app on your smartphone and then walk you through how to use your phone to take your first scan. Going forward, the progress scans take less than two minutes and is done on the schedule determined by the orthodontist, usually weekly. While the scans may be brief, our doctors take time to thoroughly review your progress to ensure better treatment outcomes and quality smile results.
