Hi! I’m Jennifer, and I have been a treatment coordinator at Orthodontic Associates for over 19 years. As a treatment coordinator, my job is to help our new patients begin their orthodontic treatment. I am here to answer your questions about Invisalign treatment or braces, figure out payment plans and ultimately start you on a path to a beautiful smile. If you have been into our Oklahoma City Hefner office over the years, there is a good chance you have sat right across from me at your first appointment!
I wanted to share with you the two questions I get asked the most from potential patients and their parents.
1. How much will Invisalign treatment or braces cost?
This is the number one question I am asked and understandably so. Orthodontics is an investment, but one that is worth it and lasts a lifetime (IF you wear your retainers for the rest of your life.😊). Our fees are based on how much tooth and bite movement is needed and range from $2995.00 to $7,000.
Your costs of treatment also depends on what your orthodontic goals look like. We may be recommending a more comprehensive treatment than you had in mind, and our goal may not be yours. If you have a different goal and desire a more limited treatment option, please let us know so we can help you achieve it!
Many patients assume Invisalign treatment is going to cost more than braces. The good news at OA is that our cost is the same for either treatment option. We are big believers in Invisalign treatment, and we want you to make your decision based on what you or your child would be most motivated to finish and not because one is less expensive. Our job is to present you with options, discuss the pros and cons, and then let you decide
2. How long will my orthodontic treatment take?
Everyone wants the quickest treatment, and who can blame them? The length of time varies person to person and like the fees, it is based on how much tooth and bite movement is needed. Treatment can range from 6 months to 24 months. Please don’t assume your case is hard and decide you don’t want to come see us for fear of long treatment. It costs you nothing for us to look, give you a price estimate and length of time. We do not charge for your first consultation, x-rays and photos.
The length of treatment time can also be affected by a patient’s cooperation. If a patient is not wearing their elastics, not wearing their Invisalign clear aligners as instructed, eating foods that can break brackets, or has poor oral hygiene, their treatment time can be increased. If you follow our instructions and guidance throughout treatment, you should complete your treatment on time or even a little early!
I’d be happy to meet with you at our Oklahoma City office off Lake Hefner Parkway, or we have offices in Edmond and a walk-in location at Classen Curve too! Give us a call at 405-947-1526 to schedule your free smile consultation!
