Orthodontics chose me as much as I chose it. Thirty years later, I still feel grateful for that, especially for the lasting relationships I’ve built with patients, families, and colleagues right here in our community.

A proud Oklahoma Native, I studied biology at Baylor before returning home to complete dental school at OU, a General Practice Residency in Hospital Dentistry at St. Anthony’s, and my orthodontic degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis.

I’ve been with Orthodontic Associates ever since, helping families across the OKC metro create smiles they’re proud to wear. What keeps me sharp is the work that doesn’t fit neatly in a textbook.

As a Clinical Assistant Professor at OU and an active member of the Cleft Lip/Palate-Craniofacial Team, I get to collaborate on some of the most complex, rewarding cases in orthodontics – those that genuinely change lives. I also participate in a local dental study club where orthodontists and specialists tackle challenging treatment planning over coffee and good conversation. I believe the best clinicians never stop learning.

At home, I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Sheila, and we have five incredible kids: Lauren, Grace, Caroline, Ella, and Will. Our family is rooted in faith through Crossings Community Church here in OKC. I hold myself to high standards because my patients deserve nothing less, but I also believe great orthodontics should feel approachable, unhurried, and even a little fun.
